A few months back, I needed a break from my ongoing painting series and started working on a few paintings of objects that I had saved and had been previously kept by family members. The first is a pewter horse made by my father when I was child. The second a collection of duck decoy eyeballs used and collected by my grandmother. The third contains gold teeth of unknown origin found among my aunt's jewelry supplies. I really enjoyed working on these.
